NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — A juvenile was arrested for shooting a BB gun in the parking lot of Rogers High School, according to Newport police. Police said officers responded just after 11 a.m. to a report of gunfire outside the school, which was put on lockdown. A short time later, police found the suspect and the weapon. No one was injured, police said, and the suspect didn't appear to be targeting anyone specifically. The suspect, who has not been identified, is now facing several charges.
