According to the Franklinton Police Department, on Wednesday, March 19, officers arrested 24-year-old Autumn Harper on charges of first-degree murder. Jessie Hoffman executed by state; first execution in Louisiana since 2010 An investigation revealed that on March 12, officers responded to Riverside Medical Center in reference to an 8-month-old child reportedly suffering from severe injuries including multiple "healing and current broken bones." (Courtesy/Franklinton Police Department) Officials airlifted the child to Children's Hospital in New Orleans where they later died as a result of the injuries.
