The game went into triple overtime and ended with a final score of 171-166. Small forward Mike Mitchell also scored 45 points for the Spurs. Under most circumstances, 95 points amounts to the lion’s share, but there was still 76 points scored outside of the dynamic duo that night. There has never been a player like Ice, and there never will be. But beyond the hardwood, Gervin’s fingerprint can be seen throughout The Alamo City.
