Wednesday is looking to be a beauty of a day! Sunshine will be here all day today thanks to an area of high pressure. The sun will bring temperatures up quickly and will top out milder than average in the lower-60s for most of Southern New England, the exception being along the coast where temper
atures will max out closer to 50. Spring becomes official Thursday morning at 5:01 am as the Vernal Equinox occurs. Thursday weather will be cloudy and unsettled with some light rain and drizzle pockets. Temperatures will be cooler in the 50s. Rain develops overnight as a cold front comes through and rain may be heavy at times into Friday morning. Mid-morning as the front clears, we may even kick the rain over briefly to some snow as colder air rushes in behind the front. Friday’s high temperatures will be in the upper-40s. Friday night we clear the skies and the weekend will be sunny both days. Saturday will be the warmer of the two day with highs in the upper-50s while Sunday will be cooler in the 40s.
