Mar 19, 2025
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – For fans making the trip to cheer on the Cats, here’s what to expect along the way and once you arrive in Milwaukee.
Commute Forecast – Wednesday Evening Storms
If you’re driving up Wednesday, be prepared for strong to severe storms along the route, part
icularly from central Illinois into western Indiana by late afternoon and evening. These storms could bring damaging winds, large hail, and even a few tornadoes. The most intense weather is expected near the I-65 and I-74 corridors in Illinois and Indiana, so keep an eye on radar and have a backup travel plan if storms intensify.
By late Wednesday night, rain will transition to snow and strong winds across Wisconsin, which could cause blowing snow and reduced visibility as you approach Milwaukee. Plan for slower travel and slick spots overnight.
️ Milwaukee Forecast
Thursday: Colder with morning snow showers. Highs only reach the low 40s with gusty winds, which could cause some blowing snow in open areas. If you’re sightseeing, bundle up!
