People typically park underground to protect their vehicles but a group of vandals may have some people second-guessing that. On March 9, security cameras outside the Civic Plaza underground parking lot captured five people walking into the garage but it wasn't to get to their car.
Instead, the group broke through the glass boxes holding 17 fire extinguishers, removed them, and discharged the extinguishers on the vehicles around them. They weren't done there.
A week later they came back, this time adding two more to their crew. During that second incident on March 16, they removed six more fire extinguishers. That brought the total to 23 and they targeted even more cars nearby.
