Wisconsin woman to compete on "Farmer Wants a Wife"

(WFRV) – Wisconsin will be represented in one of the most popular reality television series, "Farmer Wants a Wife."
Among the contestants is 23-year-old Karina Sabol of Madison, who will be one of eight women vying for the heart of farmer Jay Woods in the upcoming season. Sabol, an operations m
anager, was a standout collegiate gymnast at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, earning several awards during her decorated career.

From the balance beam to the floor routine, she’s now trading one competition for another.

Woods, described as a hometown hero, saw his football career cut short by injury and has since dedicated himself to rebuilding his grandfather’s farm in Alabama.
Season three of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will showcase the beauty and challenges of rural romance, with new twists putting relationships to the test. Contestants and farmers will travel to Alabama for a speed dating event, Tennessee for a country ball and Texas for an overnight camping mixer.
New this season, the final contestants will bring their families to the farms, giving their loved ones a firsthand look at life in the countryside.

As the women immerse themselves in farm life, some will flourish while others may struggle, and only time will tell who has the patience, spirit and adaptability to be a farmer’s wife.
