Man pleads guilty to drug charges and crash involving police

MANDAN, ND (KXNET) — A man who was in trouble for drugs and slamming into a police officer's vehicle pleaded guilty in court this week.
Collin Brownotter pled guilty to eight counts in Morton County court on Monday.
Brownotter was arrested last month after police tried pulling him over in B
ismarck. They say he then took off into Mandan and struck an officer's patrol vehicle.
Officers say Brownotter had both fentanyl and methamphetamine in his possession, as well as a gun.
He will now serve just under nine years in prison and must pay a little over $10,000 in fines. Police said Brownotter also had a warrant from South Dakota.
