BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The Angola service area reopened and now features a Shake Shack, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express and more, the New York State Thruway Authority announced Tuesday.
Located on I-90 eastbound and westbound between exits 57A and 58, the service area is the 26th to reopen as part of
a $450 million investment to "redevelop and modernize" all 27 locations, the Thruway Authority said, adding that no tolls or tax dollars were used for construction.
The service area also includes an Applegreen C-Store and three Starbucks locations, with one located inside of the building and two drive-thru locations in the eastbound and westbound parking lots. An Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon are expected to open in the service area soon.
Other features include outdoor seating, dog walking areas for both eastbound and westbound, a private nursing area, and a digital tourism kiosk. Four high speed electric vehicle chargers will also be available at a later date.
