Mar 18, 2025
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Kansas weather is showing just how finicky it can be this week as different parts of the state are impacted by both extreme fire danger and snow warnings.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued multiple different warnings this week for parts of northeast Kansas as the first
day of spring approaches. Meteorologists are warning locals in some areas to be aware of the danger posed by high winds which may kick off wildfires while at the same time advising others to brace for dangerous winter weather.
