Ribboncutting planned for Mount Pleasant coding and STEM focused facility for students

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Tuesday for a state-of-the-art tech facility that offers hands-on coding classes and STEM education for children.
iCode, located at 3475 Park Avenue in Mount Pleasant, is an after-school and summer program where students can l
earn foundational computer skills, programming, game development, digital arts, and robotics.
Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce said the hands-on program encourages the development of soft skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Students can enroll in myriad programs from web and mobile app development to robotics and programming, networking and cybersecurity, and programming in Minecraft and Roblox among others.
