Tanner Bibee was outstanding, tossing six shutout innings and allowing one hit, walking one and striking out four, leading the Guardians to a 3-0 win over the Reds on March 17. Bibee (2-0) was followed to the mound by Joey Cantillo and Paul Sewald. Cantillo worked two shutout and hitless innings, wa lking one and striking out two. Sewald struck out two in a perfect ninth to complete the one-hitter. Carlos Santana doubled and had two RBI, and Austin Hedges belted a two-out solo home run in the seventh, his second round-tripper of the spring.
