After back-to-back double-digit performances that led Honeoye boys basketball to the Class C state semifinals, Landon Washburn is our Player of the Week. Washburn's week started in the regional qualifier against York. With just over five minutes to play in the game, Honeoye trailed by four points . The Bulldogs closed the game on a 14-0 run with 12 points coming from Washburn, pushing Honeoye to the comeback win and keeping its season alive. In the Far West Regionals, Washburn had another game-high performance. He dropped 28 points to lead Honeoye to a four-point win over Westfield.
