WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Almost four years after the death of Abram Galvan in north Wichita, a man has been charged in his death.

Pedro Morones Jr., 31, is charged with first-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault, and crim
inal discharge of a firearm.
On May 29, 2021, officers were called to a local hospital shortly after 1:40 a.m., where Galvan, 21, had walked in with a gunshot wound. He died a few days later on June 3, 2021.

Police said the shooting happened at 19th and Jackson. Galvan had been a passenger in a truck that was shot at in an apparent road rage incident.
The Wichita Police Department has been looking for the shooter since then. Last week, police announced they made an arrest thanks to some new information investigators received.
Morones appeared before a judge Monday afternoon. His next court date is March 27. The judge set his bond at $1.5 million. ...read more read less
