Park City School District to hold ribbon cutting for Ecker Hill expansion

Park City School District has announced it will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly completed expansion at Ecker Hill Middle School on March 27 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The district said the community is invited to celebrate this milestone with district leaders, staff and students. The expansio

Two state-of-the-art wings with upgraded classrooms and facilities “In alignment with the Association for Middle-Level Education (AMLE) philosophy, our community supported expanding our middle school facilities to accommodate an additional grade level,” said Lyndsay Huntsman, superintendent of Park City School District. “This expansion will create a dynamic and engaging environment that nurtures every student’s growth, preparing them for success in high school and beyond.” The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include remarks from district leadership and project partners, followed by guided tours of the new facility. Attendees will be able to explore the modernized spaces and learn more about how they will support student success. The Ecker Hill expansion is part of the broader facilities improvement plan supported by the community through the 2021 school bond, the district said, adding that the project reflects the district’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all students have access to state-of-the-art learning environments.
