TIVERTON, R.I. (WPRI) — The on-ramp from Main Avenue to Route 24 North in Tiverton is temporarily closed following a rockslide, according to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT). Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes for the next few hours until the rocks are cleared and t he roadway is deemed safe. It's unclear at this time what caused the rockslide. 12 News has reached out to RIDOT but has not yet heard back.
