The reopening of the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Bridge has been pushed back to September, following a two-year rehabilitation project that involves replacing and widening the MLK Drive Bridge deck to meet current standards, ensure structural integrity and accommodate a side path for pedestrians an d cyclists. The repairs were previously estimated to be completed by this spring, but cold weather affected construction and caused the delays, the Streets Department said.
