OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Oshkosh say a teenage girl was taken into custody following a shooting incident on March 14.
According to the Oshkosh Police Department, on March 17 a 16-year-old girl from Menasha was taken into custody for her alleged role in a March 14 shooting. The girl w
as taken into custody on the following charges:
First Degree Attempted Homicide
First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety - Three counts
Cruelty to Animals
The girl was placed at a secure detention facility, according to authorities.

The alleged incident happened on March 14 around 9:30 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1000 block of Jefferson Street for reports of gunshots.
A specific residence was reportedly hit by multiple bullets and there were no reported injuries. However, police say the person responsible for the shooting was known to the victims.
