WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Purdue is heading to the NCAA Tournament for the 10th straight time.
Purdue is a No. 4 seed and will play High Point, a No. 13 seed in Providence, Rhode Island on Thursday. Tipoff is scheduled for 12:40 p.m. Eastern.
Purdue is in the Midwest Regional, which
will play the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 games in Indianapolis.
If Purdue wins their First Round game, they will play the winner of No. 5 seed Clemson and No. 12 seed McNeese.
It’s the ninth straight tournament that Purdue has been a No. 5 seed or better.
Purdue heads into the tournament with a 22-11 record. They lost in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals to Michigan, 86-68.
Last season, Purdue made it to the National Championship, where the Boilermakers lost to UConn.
