OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - Officials have confirmed four people have died due to fires or high winds from Friday's wildfire outbreak throughout Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management confirmed Sunday night that the four people were from Pawnee, Haskell, Lincoln, and Garfield
Counties.
The number of injuries have increased as well, officials said 142 people were injured.
Officials released the new numbers ahead of a Red Flag Warning coming Monday at 11 a.m.
They said that the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) staff are coordinating with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and local emergency management to schedule Joint Preliminary Damage Assessments beginning Monday. ...read more read less
