KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Officers with the Kenner Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile wounded on Saturday, March 15.
KPD officials said officers responded to the 4300 block of Florida Avenue ar
ound 4 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire near Florida Avenue and Joe Yenni Boulevard.
One dead, another injured following separate New Orleans shootings
At the scene, Kenner police said they found a juvenile male with two gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.
The KPD reported that another juvenile was taken into custody in connection with the case.
Man wounded following Seventh Ward shooting
According to police, "The individual taken into custody later confessed on scene to the shooting."
