SAVANNAH. Ga. (WSAV) -- Savannah Police have arrested Cristhian Moises Almendares-Perez for the fatal stabbing that happened on Savannah's southside Saturday. Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at around 1:15 p.m.  They discovered the victim suffering from stab wounds.  The victim was tre ated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.  Almendares-Perez is charged with murder and three counts of cruelty to animals. ...read more read less
