Coming off the loss of De’Aaron Fox for the season and a loss to the Charlotte Hornets, the Spurs faced the New Orleans Pelicans on a SEGABABA. The injury bug affected both teams, as it was announced before t he game that Zion Williamson and Yves Missi would be out for the Pelicans. A back-and-forth affair in the first half followed, tied at 58. In the third quarter, the Spurs built some cushion as they embarked on a 17-0 run that ended up being a 23-6 run to close the quarter. After the Pels attempted a comeback late in the fourth, Devin Vassell hit a dagger three with a minute remaining that put the game away for good. The Spurs won 119-115.
