NDSU Extension hosts Spring Fever Garden workshops

MINOT, ND (KXNET) — A free series of gardening workshops is coming to the Magic City on Monday nights.
The Ward County Extension office is hosting these Spring Fever Garden Forums on Monday nights from March 24 to April 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the NDSU Extension Ward County, located at 900 1
3th St SE.
The first night will cover saving money at garden centers, growing daylilies, and designing flower gardens to attract pollinators.

Everyone at the first workshop will get a seed starting kit that includes free tomato and pepper seeds.
The seeds are from the highest quality available, with a new orange cherry tomato with a fruity flavor, a beefsteak that resists disease, a pink heirloom tomato with a famous flavor, and a small tomato with flaming stripes.
The pepper seeds will include an early ripening bell pepper, a super productive frying pepper, and a delicious yellow bell pepper.
Other vegetable and flower seeds will be provided at later workshops.
You do need to register to attend, which you can do here. If you cannot attend in person, you can register to attend online.
