Warming back up early this week
Rain/snow chance on Wednesday
Sunshine returns to wrap up the weekend, with highs near average in the upper 50s to the lower 60s. Winds will taper off but remain out of the northwest at 5-15mph.
A warming t
rend begins early next week, with highs climbing into the upper 70s and lower 80s. However, elevated fire danger will persist due to low humidity and increasing winds. By Monday, wind from the southwest at 15-20mph, but gusts could reach 30 mph, so burning is not advised.
By Tuesday, temperatures will soar into the lower 80s ahead of our next rain chance. Showers move in Tuesday night, with a changeover to snow by morning for western counties. That change to snow will spread east into early Wednesday, but with above freezing surface temperatures most of it will melt either on contact or shortly afterward with highs rebounding into the 40s in the afternoon.
