WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police said a man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after he was shot in Northwest. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that officers responded to the 1200 block of Madison St. NW for a reported shooting just after 2 p.m. At t he scene, they found a man who had been shot. Police noted that he was "conscious and breathing." Inmate dies at Roxbury Correctional Institution, suspect identified Responders took the man to the hospital for treatment.
