ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Crews with the Rochester Fire Department were called to a house fire late Friday night on Lorenzo Street between Ames Street and Hague Street. When firefighters arrived to the scene they located a single-family residence that had fire coming from the first floor. Firefight
ers got the fire under control Saturday at around 12:08 a.m.
According to the RFD, one adult was displaced and and in need of temporary housing assistance. No one was injured during the fire, and firefighters say the house is not livable at this time.
The RFD is still working to determine what caused the fire. The Rochester Police Department, the Red Cross, AMR, and RG&E assisted at the scene.
