GOODLAND (KSNT) - State troopers say they are working a multi-vehicle crash with several reported fatalities in western Kansas on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP) reports in a social media post at 9:46 a.m. on March 15 that both eastbound and westbound I-70 are closed from Goodland to Co
lby due to a multi-vehicle crash. A combination of powerful wind gusts and blowing dust created a severe dust storm which created near zero visibility conditions in the area.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all that are affected by this crash and all first responders that are assisting."
