FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that a 20-year-old male was killed after a shooting Saturday. Police had originally asked the public to avoid the area of Rodman Street for an active shooting investigation. When police arrived on scene, they found the victim suffer ing from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police added that a family member was taken into custody, and that it was believed to be an isolated incident with no danger to the public.
