NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The 69th annual Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade was held on Saturday. The parade stretched from Newport City Hall, through Washington Square, down Thames Street, and ending at St. Augustine’s Church. Community organizations from around the state joined in, including th e North Providence Police Department Honor Guard and the Rhode Island Department of State.
