WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- The winner of last year's Rhode Island State Spelling Bee will once again be representing her state on a national stage. Scituate Middle School student Elliana Pagliarini won the statewide spelling bee again on Saturday at the Gamm Theatre in Warwick. Last year, she advanced all the way to the quarterfinals and will be participating in the 100th Scripps National Spelling Bee in May. 12 News Anchor Kim Kalunian was the event's official pronouncer.
