BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Several homes in Kentwood were damaged, and one person was rescued after a possible tornado touched down Saturday.
No known injuries have been reported.
Tornado watches and warnings were issued for parts of Louisiana and Mississippi.
"Love and Prayers
for Our Kentwood East Fork Residents and Community: **With the weather yet in Tornado Mode, and with us not being sure what can yet happen, we pray for East Fork, Our Town of Kentwood and All Towns, Cities and Villages. Lord, You Are In Control. Everyone, please Stay Alert," said city officials.
Louisiana First News has a crew headed out to the area.
