TOPEKA (KSNT) - A new Topeka restaurant specializing in tasty sandwiches reports it will be opening later this month. 27 News checked back in with the owners of Over the Top Sandwich & Deli, Troy and Marcy Schreiner, this week to find out if the business has an opening date set yet for March . Troy said the restaurant should be ready to open on Saturday, March 22 in north Topeka. "Just cleaning up messes now and getting the health department in for the go ahead for the opening," Troy said. "Next week we will be training our staff and all the final touches." The food truck turned restaurant will offer customers a selection of both old and new menu items consisting of cinnamon rolls, smash burgers, reuben sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks and more.
