RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- It's Flood Awareness Week, and the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is reminding people of a tool they can use to check their flood risk level. The Virginia Flood Risk Information System (VFRIS) is a tool Virginia residents can use to enter their addr ess and find out the likelihood of their area experiencing flooding.
