FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A crash at the intersection of E Washington Boulevard and Lafayette Street tied up traffic downtown Saturday afternoon. Fort Wayne dispatch confirmed a crash that happened at the intersection of E Washington Boulevard and Lafayette Street. Dispatch told WANE 15 that s omeone was trapped as a result of the crash, but they were quickly extracted. Dispatch also confirmed there were minor injuries in the crash. Maps showed extreme traffic tie-ups, but were resolved shortly after the crash was cleaned up. A WANE 15 crew member said traffic was being diverted down Lafayette St, if they were heading west on Washington Blvd. It's unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash. ...read more read less
