BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The City of Bismarck has announced its street sweeping schedule for the spring of 2025. The Roads & Streets Department has begun its city-wide street sweeping program. City crews will sweep streets according to the schedule below, weather permitting, until all residen tial streets are swept. New road construction in Williston The City has some guidelines that residents and businesses must follow while streets are being swept: Keep vehicles and trailers off the street until sweepers are done in your area. Do not rake sand or debris from your boulevard into the street. Do not rake or blow leaves or grass into the street. Grass clippings plug our storm water system. Keep grass clippings out of the gutter line and street. Here are some other tips people should know about street sweeping: Street sweeping operations can be dangerous due to stones and other flying debris. Parents are advised to keep children away from all street sweeping operations. Motorists should drive with caution when passing street sweepers.
