Comic-Con Museum’s ‘Doctor Who’ exhibit
The exhibit “Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder: Where Science Meets Fiction” is now open a
t the Comic-Con Museum. It will take fans behind the scenes and give them a close-up look at props and materials from the show. Tickets cost $30 for adults and $12 for children ages 6 to 12.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
Head to Balboa Park on Saturday for San Diego's annual Irish-themed festival and parade. Entry to the event is just $10 for adults over age 21. There will be live entertainment all day long, as well as a variety of food and craft vendors. There will also be a kid zone for the younger festivalgoers.
Pablo Francisco at American Comedy Co.
Comedian Pablo Francisco, who's been featured on MADtv, Howard Stern and Comedy Central, will take the stage at San Diego's American Comedy Co. Friday and Saturday night. Admission to the show is $24, which includes on complimentary drink. Guests must be at least age 21 to attend.
New upscale restaurant coming to Solana Beach this spring
Farmer’s Cup Cannabis Festival
This first-of-its-kind event for the region is set to take place at Moonlight Amphitheater in Vista on Saturday. This marks the first time a public permit has been granted for cannabis sales and consumption on city property here in the county. There will be live music and vendors of all sorts. Festivalgoers must be age 21 or up to attend.
Cherry Blossom Festival
Head to the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum this weekend to see cherry blossoms in bloom. There will be attractions, including a wall of lanterns and community art. There will also be children's activities, as well as cultural food and beverages. Single-day tickets start at $20.
