PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — A dolphin washed ashore Friday in the area of Seaconnet Boulevard in Portsmouth. As of 12:45 p.m., Mystic Aquarium was gathering a group of volunteers to collect the dolphin. It will be brought back to the aquarium where scientists will perform a necropsy to try to better understand why the dolphin stranded.
