According to
the Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Viewer, the fire has burned about 2,500 acres and is 5% contained.
Officials said crews are engaged on both flanks of the fire.

Officials reported that evacuations for McLean and Alanreed have been lifted.

Residents of McLean were told that the Shamrock Convention Center at 400 E Railroad Avenue and Shamrock Methodist Church located at 500 N Main are both available for anyone evacuating from the fires in Gray County.

GRAY COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - Officials with the City of Pampa confirmed an ongoing response to a grass fire near Alanreed on Friday. As of 1:40 p.m. officials confirmed people in the Alanreed area were under an evacuation order.
Lipscomb County

The Lipscomb County Sheriff's Office reported Locust Grove residents may return home.

The Lipscomb County Sheriff's Office advised residents south of Booker to evacuate to Booker, in a move "not mandatory but strongly recommended." The Booker Community Center and Kiowa Country north of the nursing home on Pioneer Street was opened for those needing to evacuate.
Those evacuating from Locust Grove were told to go to Highway 305 North.

The Lipscomb County Sheriff's Office advised Locust Grove residents and those living south on Highway 23 to prepare for possible evacuation on Friday afternoon.
LIPSCOMB COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - The Lipscomb County Sheriff's Office said the Lipscomb County Fire Department is responding the fire in Robert's County along Highway 70.
The LCSO said it is asking county residents to keep up with updates as the fire may cross the county line into Lipscomb County.
Roberts County - "Windmill Fire" 18,000 acres; 50% contained

Texas A&M Forest Service reports that the fire has burned about 18,000 acres and is 50% contained.

TFS reports that forward progression has been stopped and crews continue to construct containment line. TFS added that the rainfall was beneficial in helping to limit fire activity.

Texas A&M Forest Service reported that forward progression has not been stopped on the fire. The fire is receiving some light rain and crews are actively engaged in building containment lines along the flanks of the fire.

ROBERT COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Texas A&M Forest Service reported that crews are working a grass fire in Roberts County now named the "Windmill Fire."
The fire has burned about 750 acres and is 0% contained according to Texas A&M Forest Service.

Texas County Emergency Management is asking drivers to avoid Highway 54 Hooker to Tyrone due to a grass fire.
Wheeler County

The Wheeler County Sheriff's Office reported that the fire on FM 1906 and County Road 21 in Wheeler County is out.

Wheeler County Emergency Management is urging caution for those in the southwest corner of the county due to the fire in Gray County.
Officials with Wheeler County Emergency Management said a fire was reported in the area of Highway 1906 and County Road 21. Anyone in the area was told to be alert.
Lake Tanglewood

Officials said all evacuations for Lake Tanglewood have been lifted.

The Randall County Sheriff's Office said the evacuation order for Lake Tanglewood was lifted, except for residents on Lago Vista Street.

RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Randall County Sheriff's Office is ordering evacuations for some homes in the Lake Tanglewood area due to a structure fire.
Roads closed, traffic impacted amid Friday wrecks, fires, high winds, low visibility
According to RCSO, evacuations will be required for residents on Stockton Rd., Turtle Creek Dr., Lake Tanglewood Dr, north of the church, Lago Vista St., and Overlook Rd.
Evacuees are being directed to the Cole Community Center in Canyon.
