KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Storms moving through the Kansas City area Friday afternoon caused a tree to fall on to a moving car in Blue Springs, Missouri. The incident happened along Duncan Road between 12th Street and Saunders Road. At this time the area is closed to traffic as crews work to clear the scene. Police said the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. No passengers were reported to be in the vehicle.
