AUBURN, Wis. (WFRV) - A 39-year-old man was arrested by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday on a charge of first-degree attempted homicide.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, the communication center received a report around 4:56 p.m. on Tuesday, stating that he
and his landlord were in a fight, with the landlord struggling to breathe.
Green Bay police arrest suspect after fight leaves one injured
Deputies responded to the address in the town of Auburn and found the 39-year-old landlord with significant life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital and then to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Detectives investigated on the scene and found evidence and probable cause to determine that the caller, a 39-year-old Auburn man, was the aggressor in the fight and caused the injuries.
The man was taken into custody and faces a charge of 1st-Degree Attempted Homicide, which has been filed to the District Attorney's Office. The victim is medically sedated as he battles life-threatening injuries, including extreme head and brain injuries.
