Baltimore ad agency wins Best in Show ADDY for work with Supreme Court Historical Society

Baltimore-based advertising agency Mission took home the top prize at the American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards, an annual celebration of Charm City’s best creative marketing.Mission won “Best in Show” for a campaign developed in support of the Supreme Court Historical Society’s 50
th anniversary. Inspired by the traditional announcement before each Supreme Court session, the Oyez! 50th Anniversary campaign celebrates five decades of the society’s efforts to preserve and promote the history of the Supreme Court of the United States.“Winning Best in Show is a testament to a client who embraced our bold ideas, trusted our creativity, and let us push the unexpected. Great work happens when boundaries don’t exist,” said Todd Harvey, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Mission. “We greatly appreciate the recognition from the AAF and the support from our partners at the Supreme Court Historical Society.”Judges who voted for Mission’s “Oyez!” campaign called it modern, bold, and innovative. They were impressed with the campaign’s power to draw people in and create interest in learning about the Supreme Court’s history. Fantastic work.”The American Advertising Awards, known as the ADDY Awards, is the industry’s premier awards ceremony. AAF’s Baltimore chapter held the awards on March 6th. ADDYs recognize and honor the most inspired works created by marketers. A panel of judges selects the winners for each category. The Best in Show award recognizes the highest level of excellence and is considered preeminent among all the entries in the competition.In addition to Best in Show, Mission claimed three other awards at this year’s ADDYs:Oyez!
