BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Two boys were arrested after a fight in front of Haven Drive Middle School in Arvin on Friday morning. Officials with the Arvin Police Department told 17 news that officers were dispatched to the front of the school for the report of a fight around 7:45 a.m. It was discovered that one of the boys attends the school and one does not. When police attempted to make contact, the boy who does not attend the school fled from police near the school, according to the Arvin Police Department's Chief of Police. The boy was ultimately arrested and found with a razor type object. Police said the boy who attends the school was arrested and found with a blunt object that was sharpened.
