ESCONDIDO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Firefighters are working to contain a large fire at a three-story building in Escondido after flames broke out just before 8 p.m. on Thursday. The building is located on Sheridan Avenue. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the building. According t o fire officials, crews took a defensive approach to control the blaze, prioritizing the safety of the surrounding area.
