HAZARD, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Donald “Ryan” Whitaker, a 38-year-old man from Hazard who was reported missing by his family. According to KSP Post 13, Whitaker was last seen on March 6, 2025, at the Knott County Central Gy mnasium in Hindman. Investigators say his last known communication with associates was through electronic means on March 11, but there has been no contact since. Whitaker is described as 6’1” tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with gold sleeves featuring the Hazard High School logo and grey pants. He was believed to be driving a 2013 maroon Nissan Maxima at the time of his disappearance. Authorities urge anyone with information on Whitaker’s whereabouts to contact Kentucky State Police Post 13 at 606-435-6069.
