UPDATE:
CHARLOTTE, NC – Two underage suspects in the murder of a Charlotte teenager have been arrested in South Carolina.
CMPD says the suspects were arrested Thursday in Lee County, South Carolina on outstanding warrants and are awaiting extradition to Charlotte.
They are charged with the murder
of 17-year-old Cayden Casanova.
He died after being shot on January 18th at an apartment complex on Hollow Creek Circle off Odell School Road in north Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, NC – CMPD is still looking for potential suspects after a homicide in north Charlotte.
It happened just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex on Hollow Creek Circle off Odell School Road.
This is very close to the Cabarrus County line in a neighborhood not very far from Concord Mills.
Police say 17-year-old Cayden Morgan Casanova was pronounced dead at the scene from a single gunshot wound.
“We’re speaking to some witnesses and some folks that were in the area when this happened. We’ve got Crime Scene investigators here working the scene as well,” CMPD Major Dave Johnson said. “We encourage anybody that thinks they saw or heard anything to contact us or contact Crime Stoppers.”
Police say they have no suspects in custody at this time. Investigators are continuing to talk with witnesses.
