Three arrested in Dorchester County after tip on illegal activity

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office has arrested three individuals following suspected illegal activity in the Ponds Neighborhood in Summerville.
Keith Richard Tucker was arrested for failure to comply.
Joshua Todd Williams was arrested for driving under
suspension.
Erica Michelle Kline was arrested and charged with possession of less than a gram of methamphetamine/cocaine base (first offense).
Deputies say they received a tip through their online citizens connect page regarding suspected illegal activity at a residence on the 100th block of Cherry Grove Drive in the Ponds Neighborhood.
In response, law enforcement began surveillance of the property. Officials said on Thursday, March 13, deputies responded to the residence concerning another complaint.
While speaking with the occupant, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the property.
During a traffic stop, deputies arrested Keith Richard Tucker on a warrant issued by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office. Joshua Todd Williams was also taken into custody during the same stop.
Following the traffic stop, deputies with the Criminal Investigations Division, and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office/Summerville Police Metro Narcotics Unit obtained a search warrant for the residence.
While conducting the search, Erica Michelle Kline was arrested by deputies.
Sheriff Sam Richardson said, "This case serves as a clear reminder of a core principle we repeatedly emphasize to the citizens of Dorchester County: the effectiveness of the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is directly tied to our partnership with the community. The tip provided by a concerned citizen was crucial in leading to the arrest of the suspects involved. We want to make it clear that the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office will continue this investigation and is prepared to pursue additional charges if warranted."
