ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Opening this month on stage in Rochester is "Great Expectations" based on the novel by Charles Dickens. This is a new take from The Company Theatre. You can see it at The Temple Theatre starting March 28. The story follows Pip from his humble beginnings as an orphan living with his venomous sister and her blacksmith husband through his sudden and unexpected transition to a gentlemanly status in London. Artistic Director Carl Del Buono says the show blurs the lines between rehearsal and performance with eight actors playing out the events of Pip's life.
