Today (March 14, 2025) is the application for 2025 event grants from the Fort Pierre Tourism and Promotion Council. Grants also require a 50% cash match. The FPTPC Tourism Event Grant provides funding to support new events, innovative projects, or the expansion of existing events that attract visitors to Fort Pierre, with a particular focus on increasing overnight stays at local hotels and accommodations. Grants range from $250 to $2,500 and require a 50% cash match. In 2024, FPTPC awarded nearly $10,000 across eight grant applications.
