Orangeburg Co., SC (WOLO) — The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone can help them identify a woman accused of shoplifting. According to deputies, March 7, just after 6 p.m. a woman was caught on surveillance cameras stealing storage crates
that were sitting out side of an area Dollar Store.
According to authorities, employees from the Kennerly Road Dollar General alerted deputies of the theft. Deputies say they were shown the video recorded at the time of the incident where you can see the suspected thief loading multiple crates onto the back of a wooden trailer hitched to the back of a white Chevrolet pick up truck authorities say appeared to already have an air conditioner unit loaded onto it.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell released a statement concerning the theft saying,
“If a business has property outside, it doesn’t mean you can walk off with it,” the sheriff said. “If you know who this is, please give us a call.”
If anyone has any information on who this woman is or if you have any details about the incident that may be of help to deputies you are urged to contact the Orangeburg County Communications Center at 803-534-3550.
